Animation

Assemblies can be animated. This is a useful tool for communicating design concepts to manufacturers and to show consumers how a product works or assembles.

Sculpting & Prototyping

Some designs are simply to 'free-form' to be created digitally. Reverse Engineering allows for a great deal of design flexibility by first capturing the design content in clay. This clay model can then be further digitized and refined. See slideshow

ARC industrial is capable of limited production runs of a prototype from most materials. This includes investment wax and most thermoset plastics.

 

Analyzation

Surface analysis tools can be used to check for surface tangency and draft.

Weight, volume and center of gravity can be easily calculated.

Check for collision between parts and be sure that components fit together with proper tolerances.
